Skyrim comes with a robust feature of crafting special potions and stews. However the alchemy system itself was a little unbalanced and mostly just used for potions of fortify enchant. While the food crafting was little more than an added feature for realism, and the food was mostly useless.
This mod fixes that by giving cooking its own set of skills, unlocking harder recipes as you get better, and balancing the existing alchemy system. It also adjusts those lists so they vary depending on location, so you wont find an elven greatsword in the burial grounds but rather an ancient nordic greatsword.
